Welcome to my Oregon Coast adventures. I have long wanted to share my encounters with nature and life in a small Southern Oregon coastal community. If you have ever had a craving for a simpler life, living in a community of only 1700 people with deer and elk as your neighbors and ocean beaches at your back door and abundant lakes and many glorious rivers to explore then you have found Pena's Paradise. Well at least that is what we call our acre of property. Our town sits beside to 2 beautiful lakes. North and South Tenmile Lakes which are considered the Number #1 Bass Fishing Lake and the #1 Recreational Lake in the State of Oregon. All this and a moderate climate year round. That is if you don't mind a little rain. With an average rainfall of 60". Year 2008 is ahead of schedule. This has also been our coldest year breaking many records statewide.
